Rain Likely in Telangana for Next Three Days: IMD Forecast

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a new weather update predicting rainfall in various parts of Telangana over the next three days. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre reported that scattered showers are likely, bringing relief from the heat.

The forecast also mentions strong winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 km/h along with the rain. Day temperatures may drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius below the normal levels during this period.

Officials said that the southwest monsoon is making further progress, helping reduce the extreme summer heat. This comes as welcome news for people in cities who have been struggling with high temperatures and humidity.

On Sunday, light rain was recorded in several parts of Hyderabad, including Kondapur, Kukatpally, Secunderabad, and LB Nagar. However, rain caused waterlogging in many areas, affecting traffic and causing inconvenience to commuters.
