Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik Congratulates PM Modi on Completing 11 Years in Office

Bhubaneswar, June 8: Famous sand artist and Padma awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday for completing 11 years of leadership. He made a powerful sand sculpture at Puri beach, Odisha, with the message: "11 Years of Modi Era: A Jan Sevak's journey to Build Viksit Bharat."

Pattnaik said, "This sculpture is not just made of sand but is a symbol of progress and the shared dream of a developed India. Under PM Modi’s strong leadership over the last decade, India has seen great growth — from world-class infrastructure and digital changes to bold economic reforms, empowering the people, and strong global relations."

The sand artist created a six-foot-high sculpture using about five tons of sand. Students from his sand art school helped him complete this work to honor Modi’s 11 years of dedicated service as Prime Minister.

Pattnaik added, "People across India have congratulated the Prime Minister on his 11 years of service. We thank him for his hard work, strong dedication, and vision that is changing the future of our nation."

Prime Minister Modi took office on May 26, 2014, and completed 11 years on May 26 this year. His popularity helped end 30 years of coalition politics in India in 2014. Over these years, PM Modi’s government has taken many steps to reduce poverty, improve infrastructure, support inclusion, and empower women.

PM Modi was also the longest-serving Chief Minister of Gujarat, from October 2001 to May 2014.
