Rain Expected in AP for 3 Days – Be Cautious

The Disaster Management Authority said that moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in several districts of Andhra Pradesh for the next three days. This is due to a surface circulation moving southwest towards North Tamil Nadu. People are advised to stay alert as lightning may also occur in some areas.

On Monday, heavy rain is expected in Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, Annamayya, and Chittoor districts. Light to moderate rain is also possible in other districts like Parvathipuram, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Eluru, Guntur, Bapatla, Kurnool, Nandyal, Kadapa, and Tirupati.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, districts like Palnadu, Prakasam, Anantapur, Kadapa, and Chittoor are expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall. Light showers may occur in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Nellore, and others. Officials suggest taking care during travel or outdoor activities.
