Andhra Pradesh Weather Alert: Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Several Districts

Even before fully recovering from the impact of Cyclone Michaung, the weather department has issued another rainfall alert for Andhra Pradesh. According to officials, light to moderate rains are likely to occur in several districts, and people are advised to stay alert and take precautions.

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) announced that thunderstorms with lightning are expected in parts of Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nellore, Anantapur, Chittoor, and Tirupati districts on Tuesday.

Light showers are also expected in the remaining districts. The department has warned that during thunderstorms and lightning, people should avoid taking shelter under trees or in open fields. Farmers and laborers working outdoors have been urged to stay in safe areas until the weather improves.
