Due to continuous heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, normal life has been badly affected. The low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is causing heavy rainfall in several districts.

Considering the situation, the collectors of NTR and Guntur districts have announced a holiday for all government and private schools, as well as Anganwadi centers, today. Officials have advised people to stay indoors and take necessary precautions, especially for the safety of children.

Home and Disaster Management Minister Vangalapudi Anitha held a review meeting with officials regarding the heavy rains. The government is closely monitoring the situation and has issued safety instructions to the public to avoid unnecessary travel.
