Mega DSC 2025: Teacher Recruitment Exams Start Today in Andhra Pradesh
The Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment exams have officially started today across Andhra Pradesh. These exams will be conducted online every day until June 30, 2025, in two sessions – morning and afternoon.
The government is conducting this exam to fill 16,347 teacher posts in government schools. The School Education Department has made all the arrangements for smooth and secure conduct of the exam.
Applications and Exam Details:

A total of 5.77 lakh applications were received from 3.36 lakh candidates.

The exam will be held in 154 centers, including 137 in Andhra Pradesh and 17 in other states.

Around 87.8% of candidates were allotted exam centers in their preferred districts.
Exam Timings and Format:

Morning session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Afternoon session: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Post-wise exam pattern:

For PGT, Principal, and Physical Director: 3-hour exam with 200 questions for 100 marks (No TET required).

For SGT, School Assistant, and TGT: 2.5-hour exam with 160 questions for 80 marks (TET marks will be considered).
There is no negative marking in the exam.
Instructions for Candidates:

Report to the exam center at least 90 minutes before the exam.

Carry hall ticket and a valid government-issued photo ID.

Only pens are allowed. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or rough paper are not allowed.

Rough sheets will be provided at the exam center.

Strict security and biometric verification will be done. All centers are under CCTV surveillance.
This Mega DSC 2025 is a major step by the Andhra Pradesh government to provide thousands of teacher jobs and improve the state’s education system.
