Nara Rohith Opens Up About Family, Career, and Emotional Journey
Actor Nara Rohith, known for his unique roles in Telugu cinema, comes from a strong political family but has made his mark in the film industry with his own talent. After taking a long break, he is now making a comeback with the film Bhairavam.
In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, Rohith spoke openly about his personal life, family, and career struggles. He shared emotional moments about his uncle and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, his brother Nara Lokesh, and the impact of their support.
On Chandrababu Naidu's Influence:
Rohith said, “My uncle Chandrababu and aunt Bhuvaneshwari are the most important people in my life. Without their support, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
He admired Chandrababu’s patience in listening to others and said he tries to follow that quality in his own life.
Remembering His Father:
Rohith emotionally recalled how his uncle was deeply affected when his father Nara Ramamurthy Naidu passed away. “He was emotionally broken for a few days. That showed how much he loved my father,” Rohith said.
He also mentioned that Chandrababu personally monitored his father’s health and consulted doctors weekly.
Rohith added that Chandrababu’s recent arrest deeply hurt him and would be painful for anyone who knows his true character.
On Nara Lokesh:
Talking about his brother, Rohith said Nara Lokesh’s transformation between 2019 and 2024 was truly motivational.
“People doubted him, but he worked hard and proved himself,” Rohith said. He also shared memories of their childhood bond and regular meetups in Tirupati.
Career and Film Industry Life:
Rohith clarified that he did not benefit from politics in his career.
“I started in 2009 when TDP wasn’t in power. Most of my films between 2014 and 2019 were signed before the elections,” he explained.
He took a break due to dissatisfaction with his work. “I chased success, but it didn’t feel right. I preferred doing films I loved. Due to COVID and my father's illness, the break became longer,” he added.
Personal Life:
Rohith revealed that he is engaged to a woman named Siri, with approval from both families.
“My uncle agreed immediately. Our happiness matters the most to him. My aunt supported the engagement like a parent,” he said.
Film Friendships and Bhairavam:
Rohith mentioned Sri Vishnu, Naga Shaurya, and Manchu Manoj as his close friends in the industry. He hopes that his upcoming film Bhairavam, also featuring Manoj and Bellamkonda Srinivas, directed by Vijay, brings success to everyone.
