The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that several districts of Telangana may experience very heavy rainfall today. A red alert has been issued for Medak, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad districts, predicting extremely heavy rains.

An orange alert is in place for Mulugu, Nirmal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Bhupalpally, Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Suryapet, and Medchal districts. The rest of the districts are under a yellow alert, with forecasts of heavy rains.

Authorities have urged people in these areas to stay alert, remain indoors, and avoid stepping out unless it is essential. Citizens are advised to follow safety measures and stay updated on weather alerts.
