AP Government to Release Mega DSC Notification for 16,247 Teacher Posts
The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the release of a Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) notification in March to fill 16,247 teacher vacancies. The School Education Department plans to complete the recruitment process by June. The teacher positions include

• School Assistants (7,725)
• Secondary Grade Teachers (6,371)
• Trained Graduate Teachers (1,781)
• Post Graduate Teachers (286)
• Physical Education Teachers (132) and
• Principals (52).

Kona Sasidhar, Secretary of the School Education Department, also announced improvements such as consolidating 45 different mobile apps into one. Additionally, a Teacher Transfers Act is in progress, and plans are underway for a unified law across state universities once Vice-Chancellor appointments are completed.
