The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a key decision regarding the appointment of members to the Andhra Pradesh State Aquaculture Development Authority (APSADA). Orders have been issued to appoint nine members.

The government has appointed prominent personalities from various sectors related to the fisheries industry from different districts as members.

The appointed members include Desamsetti Venkata Lakshmi Narayana (Amalapuram, Processing Plants Division), Guttikonda Sri Rajababu (Gudivada, Feed Manufacturers), Lanke Narayana Prasad (Machilipatnam, Fish Farmer), Mohammad Nooruddin (Ongole, Fish Farmer), Nagasrinivas Vittanala (Mummidivaram, Hatcheries), Rachamalla Meerayya (Palakollu, Shrimp Farmer), Vankakonda Babu (Pithapuram, Shrimp Farmer), Vegesna Sai Manohar Raju (Achanta, Shrimp Farmer), and Vegesna Satyanarayana Raju (Undi, Aquaculture Health Care Products Dealer).
