Congress Announces Key Appointments in Telangana: New Committees Formed to Strengthen TPCC
The Congress high command has made a series of important organizational appointments to strengthen the functioning of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). In an official statement released on Thursday from New Delhi, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced the formation of several key committees.
To handle major political strategies and developments in the state, the AICC has constituted a 22-member Political Affairs Committee. This panel will play a key role in guiding the Telangana Congress on critical political matters.
A 15-member Advisory Committee, comprising senior and experienced leaders, has also been formed to offer guidance and strategic direction to the party’s state leadership.
In preparation for future electoral processes, the AICC has established a 7-member Delimitation Committee. This committee will focus on party-related issues concerning the reorganization of assembly constituencies.
To lead the “Save the Constitution” (Samvidhaan Bachao) Programme in Telangana, a dedicated 16-member committee has been set up. This team will oversee the campaign's execution in the state.
Additionally, a 6-member Disciplinary Action Committee has been formed to maintain discipline within the party ranks. This committee will address violations of party conduct and take appropriate action when required.
The AICC emphasized that these new committees are aimed at boosting the organizational capabilities of the TPCC and preparing it for the political challenges ahead.
