Iran-Israel Conflict: 21 Arab and Muslim Nations Condemn Israeli Airstrikes on Iran

In a joint statement released on Monday, 21 Arab and Muslim countries strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Iran. Initiated by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aaty, the statement came after consultations with several foreign ministers. The countries urged for de-escalation of regional tensions and called for a non-discriminatory nuclear disarmament process. They emphasized the need to respect international law and the sovereignty of nations.

The statement demanded an immediate end to Israel’s attacks and called for a comprehensive ceasefire. It also warned that the ongoing tension could lead to serious consequences for regional security and stability.

The countries that signed the joint declaration include: Turkey, Jordan, UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, Brunei, Chad, Gambia, Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Egypt, and Mauritania. They asserted that Israel's actions violated international law and the UN Charter.

The ministers stressed the importance of respecting national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful resolution of disputes. They also expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions and called for immediate steps to avoid further conflict.
