Kantara Chapter 1: A Series of Accidents Worry Film Team

The highly anticipated Kannada film Kantara Chapter 1, starring Rishab Shetty, has been plagued by a series of unfortunate incidents, causing concern among the film crew.

Last year, a van carrying junior artists from the film was involved in an accident. Soon after, actor Kapil, who was part of the cast, tragically drowned in a river. In the same month, actor Rakesh Poojari died of a heart attack, followed recently by mimicry artist Kalabhavan Nizu (43), who also passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Before the crew could recover from these tragedies, another mishap struck. Rishab Shetty and a group of 30 artists narrowly escaped a boat accident during the film’s shooting.

The accident occurred at Mani Reservoir in Karnataka, where the team was filming. The boat carrying the cast and crew lost control and capsized, forcing everyone to swim to safety. While all individuals, including Rishab Shetty, escaped unharmed, some technical equipment, including a camera, was lost in the water.

These continuous setbacks have left the film unit deeply concerned, casting a shadow over the production of Kantara Chapter 1.
