Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated sharply, with both nations engaging in intense cross-border attacks. Pakistan has reportedly carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Indian border regions, while Indian forces are intercepting and neutralizing these threats swiftly. Areas in Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Punjab have been targeted, prompting authorities to declare high alert across several states.

In response to the national security situation, a high alert has also been declared in Tirumala. On Saturday, elite OCTOPUS forces conducted intensified security checks around the sacred temple town. Security personnel, along with TTD Vigilance & Security, Dog Squads, and Bomb Squads, inspected vehicles and monitored areas frequented by pilgrims, including around the Tirumala temple premises.

Authorities urged devotees to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities. Temple officials emphasized that the safety of devotees is their top priority and requested cooperation from all visitors to ensure peaceful and secure darshan in these tense times.
