Government Activities Resume in Amaravati under Chandrababu Naidu

New CRDA Office Inaugurated in Amaravati

A major milestone has been achieved in the development of Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Following a change in the state government, the capital region’s projects have regained momentum. The new CRDA office was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as the first government building in the revived capital. The inauguration ceremony was made special as CM Naidu performed it alongside the farmers who had contributed land for the capital.

The event began at 9:54 AM with Vedic chants by priests, who gave a ceremonial welcome to the Chief Minister. Following this, CM Naidu cut the ribbon along with the farmers and officially opened the office. During the inauguration, he inspected the building, while Municipal Minister Narayana briefed him on the building design and facilities.

The campus houses a G+7 main building along with four pre-engineered (PEB) structures. Going forward, all operations of CRDA, ADCL (Amaravati Development Corporation Limited), and municipal departments will be conducted from this campus. The government expects that this centralized setup will improve coordination and accelerate development activities.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Union Minister P. Pemasani Chandrasekhar, several MPs, MLAs, local representatives, and officials.
