AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife, along with their son Minister Nara Lokesh and his spouse, participated in the annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala Lord Venkateswara temple. Representing the state government, the CM and his wife offered silk cloths to the deity.
During the event, Chandrababu Naidu told the media that he has directed TTD to start a Nityannadaan program across all temples and suggested building approximately 5,000 Venkateswara temples in villages. He also emphasized that temples should exist in all state capitals and in regions worldwide where Hindus reside.
The CM mentioned that he has had the privilege of offering silk cloths 14 times during Brahmotsavams and shared that he has been devoted to Lord Venkateswara since childhood, with the deity guiding him through all challenges. He also participated in the grand Sheshavahanam procession with his family.
Upon reaching Tirumala, Chandrababu Naidu and his family were warmly welcomed by TTD officials. At Gayatri Nilayam, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and EO Anil Kumar Singhal personally greeted the CM and his family.
