US Urges India for Fair and Equal Trade Access in Ongoing Talks

US Emphasizes Fair Trade and Migration Issues in Talks with India
Washington, May 29:
A top US official has highlighted the need for fair and equal market access in trade discussions with India. This happened during a meeting between US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, as both countries are working on a possible trade agreement.

Landau also discussed other key issues like illegal migration and drug control. He said that both countries should work together to grow economically and maintain a strong partnership. Reports suggest that India and the US may soon finalize a trade deal, which has been in talks for a long time.

The US also pointed out the need for better cooperation on stopping illegal immigration, especially cases involving Indians caught trying to enter the US illegally. The two nations agreed to strengthen ties, support peace, and maintain stability in the region.
