Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not focus on elections but works solely for the overall development of the nation. Comparing Modi to the Himalayas, he said, “Just like the Himalayas never bow down, Modi never bows to anyone.” He made these remarks at a meeting in Delhi with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states.
Pawan Kalyan highlighted the “PM-Jan Man” program as proof of Modi’s dedication to India’s progress. He explained that Modi does not think about votes but about his duty to develop the country. Through this scheme, roads are being built to connect remote villages of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
He added that Andhra Pradesh is getting ₹555.61 crore from the Central Government to build 612.72 km of roads connecting 239 PVTG villages across seven districts. This will benefit about 50,000 tribal people by improving their transport.
Pawan Kalyan praised Modi’s leadership during tough times like “Operation Sindoor,” saying that Modi thinks about public safety and the future of the people. He also emphasized the importance of a caste-based census to help design better welfare programs.
Finally, he said the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, approved Scheduled Caste categorization based on a report by a commission headed by retired IAS officer Rajeev Ranjan Mishra after a three-month study.
