Quarx Technosoft Gets AP Govt Approval for New IT Campus in Visakhapatnam
The Andhra Pradesh government has granted approval to Quarx Technosoft Pvt. Ltd. to establish a new IT campus at Kapuluppada, Visakhapatnam, marking a major step in strengthening the state’s IT sector.
The government has issued orders allocating 4 acres of land for the project at the rate of ₹1 crore per acre. The company plans to invest ₹115 crore in the campus, which is expected to create over 2,000 direct job opportunities in the region.
The new facility will focus on Advanced Digital Engineering, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Cloud Services, and Cybersecurity as part of its operations. Under the AP IT and GCC Policy 4.0, the company will receive the necessary incentives and support from the state government.
According to government guidelines, Phase 1 operations must commence within two years of signing the agreement, and the entire project must be completed within five years. The Secretary of IT and Electronics, Katamneni Bhaskar, has instructed APTS and APIIC Managing Directors to initiate further action accordingly.
Experts believe this decision will give a major boost to Visakhapatnam’s growing IT ecosystem and attract more tech investments to Andhra Pradesh.
