Due to a surface circulation persisting over the west-central Bay of Bengal, several areas across Andhra Pradesh are likely to receive rainfall over the next two days, according to the Disaster Management Department. Officials stated that the circulation is located at an altitude of about 0.9 km above sea level near the Andhra coast. As a result, light to moderate rains are expected in many parts of the state.

On Wednesday, districts including Konaseema, Krishna, Guntur, Bapatla, Prakasam, Nellore, Kurnool, Kadapa, and Tirupati are likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning. On Friday, light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Nellore and the Rayalaseema region.

Authorities have advised the public to remain cautious during thunderstorms. Farmers, laborers, and cattle herders are urged to move to safe areas during heavy rain. People have also been warned not to take shelter under trees or near electric poles during lightning activity.
