South Central Railway to Run 52 Special Trains Across Multiple Routes

To ease passenger congestion, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced a major initiative to operate a total of 52 special trains on various routes, based on passenger demand. These special services will be available from September to November.

According to the railway authorities, special trains will run between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. The Visakhapatnam-Tirupati special train (08583) will operate every Monday from September 15 to November 24. Similarly, the Tirupati-Visakhapatnam special train (08584) will run every Tuesday from September 16 to November 25. A total of 22 special services will be operated on this route.

Additionally, eight special trains will run between Tirupati and Anakapalle from October 5 to October 27.

On another route, special train services have been announced between Sambalpur and Erode. The Sambalpur-Erode train (08311) will operate every Wednesday from September 17 to November 26, while the return train from Erode to Sambalpur (08312) will run every Friday from September 19 to November 28. A total of 22 special trains will operate on this route as well.

SCR has advised passengers to make use of these special train services and plan their travel accordingly.
