In view of the festive rush during Diwali, the Indian Railways has announced special train services via Guntur, connecting major cities like Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Secunderabad to ease passenger congestion. Railway officials said these special trains will operate today and tomorrow for the convenience of travelers heading home for the festival.

Tirupati – Secunderabad Special (07497):
This train will depart from Tirupati at 7:40 PM tonight. It will reach Tenali at 1:30 AM, Guntur at 2:20 AM, Sattenapalli at 3:00 AM, and Nadikudi at 4:00 AM, before arriving at Secunderabad at 8:30 AM the next day.

Vijayawada – Secunderabad Special (07213):
Running today and tomorrow, this train will leave Vijayawada at 6:25 AM, reaching Mangalagiri at 7:03 AM, Guntur at 7:30 AM, Sattenapalli at 8:18 AM, Piduguralla at 8:48 AM, and Nadikudi at 9:18 AM, before reaching Secunderabad by 1:00 PM.

Return Journey – Secunderabad – Vijayawada Special (07214):
On October 17 and 18, this special train will leave Secunderabad at 4:00 PM, reaching Sattenapalli at 7:28 PM, Guntur at 8:25 PM, Tenali at 8:58 PM, and finally arriving at Vijayawada at 9:30 PM. Railway authorities urged passengers to make good use of these special Diwali services.
