The long-awaited dream of unemployed candidates for teacher recruitment came true as the government completed the Mega DSC process in record time of just 150 days. Appointment letters are being distributed today to 15,941 selected candidates in Amaravati, with grand arrangements near the Secretariat. The induction of new teachers has created a festive atmosphere across the state.

The distribution will be conducted by CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Education Minister Nara Lokesh. Top-performing candidates will receive their letters on stage, while the remaining candidates will get their appointment orders at designated counters. Family members of selected candidates were also allowed to attend, bringing the estimated number of attendees to around 34,000.

The Mega DSC notification for 16,341 posts was released on April 20, coinciding with CM Chandrababu’s birthday. Out of 3,36,300 applicants, online exams were conducted from June 6 to July 2. For the first time, SC category classification and horizontal reservation were implemented. Among the selected candidates, 50.1% are male and 49.9% female.
