Nani Praises 'Tourist Family': Calls It a Heartwarming Gem

Director Abishan Jeevinth's feel-good movie Tourist Family continues to win hearts and perform well at the box office. On Tuesday morning, popular Telugu actor Nani joined the list of top celebrities who have praised the film.

Nani posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Simple, heartwarming films with a lot of goodness are what we deserve, and #TouristFamily delivers just that. Thanking the whole cast and crew who made this gem of a film. Much needed.”

Director Abishan Jeevinth was deeply touched by Nani's appreciation. He responded “Sir, this was totally unexpected! Thank you so much for the encouragement — your tweet truly made our day! We’re feeling extra grateful and super motivated!”

Earlier, actors from various industries, including Suriya, Rajinikanth, SS Rajamouli, and Dhanush, also applauded the film.

Director Abishan got emotional last Friday after receiving a call from actor Suriya, who praised the movie and personally addressed him by name. Sharing the moment on X, Abishan wrote: “Don’t know how to explain it… but something inside me healed today. @Suriya_offl sir called my name and said how much he liked #TouristFamily.”

He added:“There’s a boy in me still watching Vaaranam Aayiram for the 100th time. Today, that boy is crying with gratitude. Thank you, sir!”

SS Rajamouli also shared:“Saw a wonderful, wonderful film Tourist Family. Heartwarming and full of rib-tickling humor. It kept me hooked from start to finish. Brilliant writing and direction by Abishan Jeevinth. Don’t miss it!”

Tourist Family, released on May 1, stars Sasikumar and Simran in lead roles, with Yogi Babu, M.S. Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, and others in supporting roles.

The film is directed by Abishan Jeevinth, with music by Shaan Rahman, cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan, and editing by Bharath Vikraman. Production is by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, with producers Nasareth Baslian, Mahesh Raj Baslian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan.
