Indian Diaspora in Qatar Praises Armed Forces and Operation Sindoor
Doha, May 27:
Indians living in Qatar have strongly supported the Indian Armed Forces and the Modi government for their tough action against terrorism through Operation Sindoor. This show of support came during a special interaction with the Indian community, held as part of a multi-party parliamentary delegation's visit to Qatar.
This visit is part of a diplomatic mission across four countries and was led by NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule. It began in Qatar, where the delegation aimed to strengthen ties and spread India's message of unity against terrorism.
According to the Indian Embassy in Doha, "The delegation gave a strong message about India’s united fight against terrorism in the community event held tonight."
The visit came soon after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which led to the launch of Operation Sindoor – India’s strong military response targeting cross-border terrorist networks.
During the interaction, Indian community members praised the bravery of the armed forces and the government’s strong stand.
One member said, "We support the Prime Minister’s message. Any future terrorist activity from Pakistan should be treated as an act of war."
Another said, "We are glad a multi-party team came to Qatar. We got a full explanation of Operation Sindoor. India always takes a firm stand against terrorism."
The community also appreciated the unity of all political parties in the delegation. One person said, "It’s a proud moment that even opposition parties are part of this initiative. It shows India is united on national security."
People also welcomed the transparency and awareness brought through the visit. They said it was important to respond strongly to terrorism so that such attacks don’t happen again.
During their stay, the Indian MPs met Qatari leaders, Shura Council officials, media, think tanks, and Indian community leaders. The Indian Embassy called the meetings "fruitful and important" for building stronger ties between both countries.
As the delegation heads to the next countries, the Qatar visit has clearly shown the world that India stands united against terrorism, with strong support from its global diaspora.
