Indian Airspace: Strong Move by India, Big Shock to Pakistan!

Tensions Rise Between India and Pakistan After Pahalgam Terror Attack

After the recent Pahalgam terror attack, tensions have increased between India and Pakistan. India responded strongly by putting pressure on Pakistan with tough decisions. In return, Pakistan banned Indian flights from using its airspace. As a response, India also blocked Pakistani flights from entering Indian airspace.

India issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) stating that Pakistani flights are not allowed to use Indian skies from April 30 to May 23. This is seen as a direct and bold reply to Pakistan’s earlier move.

Experts say this ban will affect Pakistan’s airlines heavily, as flights to countries like Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia usually pass through Indian airspace. Now, Pakistan has to divert flights through China or Sri Lanka, increasing both travel time and operating costs.

Pakistan’s airlines are already under financial stress, and this situation is making things worse. Interestingly, experts also say that Pakistan is facing more financial loss from these restrictions than India.
