Amaravati, May 19: The AP EAPCET 2025 online exams for admission into Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2025-26 are starting today across the state. According to the AP EAPCET Chairman, Professor CSR Krishna Prasad, a total of 3,62,429 candidates have applied for the exams statewide.
Out of these, 2,80,597 candidates have applied for the Engineering stream, while 81,832 candidates have applied for the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams combined. This year, JNTU Kakinada has once again been entrusted with conducting the EAPCET exams.
The Agriculture and Pharmacy exams are scheduled on May 19 and 20, while Engineering exams will be held from May 21 to 27. The exams will be conducted in two sessions each day: from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM.
There are a total of 145 exam centers across Andhra Pradesh, with one center each in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Candidates who have other national-level exams on these dates can contact the helpline with valid proof to reschedule their exams. Candidates opting for Urdu medium must take their exam only at the Kurnool regional center. Special assistants will be provided for differently-abled candidates.
Candidates will be allowed to enter the exam center one and a half hours before the exam begins.
Candidates must carry their hall ticket and any government-issued photo ID. Only black or blue ballpoint pens are allowed. Applying mehndi on hands is prohibited to avoid biometric issues. Electronic devices are strictly banned inside exam centers.
To help candidates reach exam centers easily, the route map is printed on the hall ticket. Hall tickets can be downloaded from the official AP EAPCET website or via the WhatsApp number 9552300009. For any queries, candidates can call helpline numbers 0884-2359599 or 0884-2342499.
Seats will be allotted based on the ranks obtained in this exam. As per the bifurcation law, since the 10-year deadline has expired, all seats for the 2025-26 academic year will be reserved for Andhra Pradesh students only. The 15% unreserved quota seats previously allocated to Telangana have been canceled. Additionally, AICTE has allowed colleges to increase the number of seats based on infrastructure availability, which may lead to an increase in Engineering seats this year.
