RRB NTPC 2025: Over 1.2 Crore Candidates Competing for 11,558 Posts – Exam Schedule Released

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had released a notification last year to fill various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) jobs across different railway zones in India. A total of 11,558 posts were announced, and an astounding 1.2 crore candidates have applied for these positions.

Out of the total posts:

• 8,113 jobs are for graduate-level candidates

• 3,445 jobs are for under-graduate level candidates

After much anticipation, RRB has now released the exam schedule for these posts.

As per the latest update, RRB NTPC 2025 exams for graduate-level posts will be conducted online (CBT) from June 5 to June 24, 2025. The exams will be held in three shifts daily:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

• Shift 2: 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM

• Shift 3: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

The CBT (Computer-Based Test) will have 100 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 90 minutes. There is negative marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Top-performing candidates in this test will be eligible for key posts such as:

• Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor

• Station Master

• Goods Train Manager

• Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist

• Senior Clerk cum Typist
