Low Pressure in Bay of Bengal – Heavy Rain Alert for Telugu States
A low-pressure area is forming in the northern Bay of Bengal, along with an upper air cyclonic circulation that is already active. Due to this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in many parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the next three days. Warnings have been issued separately for both states.

Telangana: Alert for 19 Districts
The Hyderabad Weather Centre has issued a special rain warning for 19 districts in Telangana. There is a chance of thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds. Winds may blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kmph, and heavy rain is expected in some areas. People are advised to stay alert and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall.

North Coastal Andhra to See More Impact
The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Department said that north coastal Andhra districts will be affected more. Districts like Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Manyam, ASR (Alluri Sitarama Raju), and Visakhapatnam may receive moderate to heavy rainfall, while light rain is expected in other parts of the state. The IMD also warned that strong winds up to 50 kmph may blow along the coast, so fishermen are advised not to go into the sea until further notice.
