Telangana Weather Update: Cold Wave Likely to Intensify in Next Three Days
Telangana is shivering under a severe cold wave as temperatures continue to dip across several districts. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has predicted that the chill will intensify over the next three days, with minimum temperatures likely to fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal. Officials attribute this drop to cold northern and northeastern winds blowing toward Telangana.
Due to these weather patterns, both day and night temperatures have been consistently declining for the past few days. On Sunday morning, many regions across the state recorded significantly low minimum temperatures — Hanumakonda saw a dip of 4.2°C to 16°C, Patancheru 13.2°C, Medak 14.1°C, Hyderabad 16.9°C, Adilabad 14.2°C, and Hayathnagar 15.6°C.
Even daytime temperatures have dropped notably. Ramagundam recorded a maximum of 29°C, 3 degrees below normal, while Nizamabad saw 30.2°C and Hyderabad 29.2°C. Weather experts have advised citizens to stay warm and take precautions as the cold wave strengthens across Telangana.
