This year, the southwest monsoon entered India earlier than usual and brought good rains at first. But later, it slowed down and disappeared for some time. Because of this, people had to face hot and humid weather even during the rainy season.
Now, the Indian Meteorological Department has shared some good news. It said that the monsoon is likely to cover the entire country in the next two days. A surface circulation has formed over the west-central Bay of Bengal, including north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts. Due to this system, light to moderate rainfall is expected in many parts of Andhra Pradesh.
The sea conditions are rough, so fishermen have been advised not to go fishing. Also, there is a chance of heavy rain in north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh on Friday, as per the weather department’s forecast.
