The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set for the annual Brahmotsavam, starting tomorrow, with elaborate arrangements to ensure a safe and smooth experience for devotees. This year, all privilege darshans have been canceled, prioritizing access for general devotees. To enhance the festive experience, 16 special varieties of prasadam will be distributed, and devotees can benefit from modern facilities such as a footwear management QR code system and a dedicated sanitation app.
Enhanced Security Measures
Security is a top priority. TTD has deployed 4,700 police officers and 2,000 temple security personnel, supported by 3,000 CCTV cameras to monitor crowd movement. Additionally, 3,500 seva volunteers will assist in managing the devotees, and buses will run every 4 minutes to ensure smooth travel up the hill.
Technology & Crowd Management
To manage crowds effectively, 36 large LED screens have been installed on Mada streets, allowing devotees outside to view the festivities live. The QR code system and the TTD app streamline footwear handling and feedback collection, helping solve around 90% of routine issues. Each 45-minute interval will allow around 35,000 devotees into galleries, ensuring orderly darshan.
Prasadam & Facilities
Continuous distribution of prasadam will be carried out at Vengamamba Annaprasadam Center from 8 AM to 11 PM. Approximately 8 lakh laddus will be provided daily. Accommodation has been prioritized, with 60% of rooms in Tirumala Mathas reserved for general devotees to ensure comfort.
Overall Preparation
With meticulous planning and coordination, TTD ensures that devotees can enjoy safe, hassle-free, and spiritually enriching Brahmotsavam celebrations, making the festival a grand experience for everyone visiting Tirumala.
