Hyderabad, May 5: With more than 42 lakh students across the country eagerly waiting for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam results, anxiety is growing as nearly a month has passed since the exams concluded, and results are yet to be announced.

Amid this anticipation, false reports claiming that the results will be declared at 11 AM on May 6 have gone viral on several social media platforms. A forged letter circulated in the name of CBSE has further fueled the misinformation.

Responding to these developments, the CBSE Board has clarified that no such result declaration is scheduled for May 6 and urged students and parents not to believe or share unverified news. The Board emphasized that all official updates will only be shared through the official CBSE website: https://cbse.gov.in.

Referring to previous trends, results were declared on May 13 last year, indicating a likely announcement sometime in the second week of May this year. CBSE confirmed that the exact date will be officially posted on its website once finalized.
