Navya Alapati, a woman born and raised in Nellore, India, and later settled in Vizag, has emerged as a beacon of inspiration through her incredible journey of self-discovery, passion pursuit, and community service. Despite being brought up in a traditional family, Navya harbored a deep love for Bharatanatyam, secretly learning the dance form against the family's wishes. Her innate passion for dance remained dormant for years until circumstances led her to rediscover it, transforming her life in unexpected ways.

Navya's educational journey took her to different parts of Andhra Pradesh, completing her 10th grade in Nellore, intermediate studies in Vizag, and pursuing a BSc in Computers, followed by a briefly started MBA. In 2011, she stepped into the role of a wife and later a mother, dedicating herself to her family. However, life took an unexpected turn when health issues arose during the birth of her second son in 2016, leading to obesity and various complications.

In the midst of these challenges, Navya found solace and purpose through dance. Her connection with the Telugu community in Virginia, where she had relocated after marriage, opened a new chapter. Initially asked to teach dance for a community event, Navya soon became a sought-after choreographer, gaining recognition for her unique concepts and performances.

The shy woman who once hid her passion now blossomed into the brand "Navya Alapati."

Over time, Navya's journey evolved as she ventured into weight loss through Zumba, becoming an instructor within months. This eventually led to the establishment of her dance studio, "Starz Dance Studio," where Navya transformed lives and created a brand that resonated with the community. Her involvement in event planning, from choreography to managing every detail, showcased her dedication and organizational skills. She has now planned and managed around 50+ events and many were successful.

Navya's journey is marked by passion, hard work, and a relentless pursuit of her love towards dance. She overcame many obstacles during the process. Her foray into modeling, winning titles like "Miss Bharat DMV," and participation in prestigious events like the New York Fashion Week added more feathers to her cap.

Balancing her professional and personal life, Navya became an icon in the Telugu community, serving as a cultural director, leading several events as a judge, and an active volunteer. Her involvement as the Youth Fashion Executive Director in the Capital Area Telugu Sangam and Cultural Coordinator in the Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Sangam, NATA Beauty Pageant 2023 State Coordinator showcased her commitment to community service.

Navya's philosophy revolves around giving back, with a percentage of her earnings going towards charity. Passionate about women's empowerment, she encourages others to discover and pursue their talents. With over 150 students at Starz Dance Studio, Navya Alapati has become a symbol of success through hard work, perseverance, and love for what she does.
