Dream League of India Launches to Promote Tennis Cricket Across India

New Delhi, May 1 – Servotech Sports officially unveiled the Dream League of India (DLI) on Thursday in a grand launch event held in the capital. This unique Tennis-ball Cricket League will feature both Junior (ages 13–18) and Senior (18+) categories, with six franchises competing in each.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been named the League Commissioner of DLI. He is joined by renowned music director and singer Salim Merchant as one of the six celebrity ambassadors of the league.

Aimed at promoting grassroots talent, the Dream League of India provides aspiring cricketers an opportunity to shine on a national and even international stage. Top performers may get the chance to represent Team India in international tennis-ball cricket, under the recognition of the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF) and Tennis Cricket Association of India (TCAI).

Interested players can register via the official league website or the Starzpit App to participate in nationwide open and fair trials, conducted by over 1,500 certified coaches at various district-level centres.

From these trials, 860 juniors and 860 seniors will be shortlisted for the DLI Player Auction, where six franchises in each category will build their teams. Unsold players won’t be left behind—they’ll play in India’s biggest Inter-Zonal Tournament, with zonal champions moving to an All-Zonal Championship. The winner of this event will face the Franchise Champion of Season 1 in the opening match of Season 2, offering every player a shot at the spotlight.
