TS EAPCET 2025 Counselling: Delay in EAPCET Counselling – Schedule to Be Released After Two Months! Here’s the Reason

EAPCET Results Announced on May 10 – Counselling to Begin Later This Year

The TS EAPCET 2025 results were announced on Sunday, May 10. The results for the Engineering and Agriculture-Pharmacy streams were released by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at his residence in Hyderabad. A total of 2,20,326 candidates applied for the Engineering stream, out of which 2,07,190 candidates appeared for the exams. Of these, 1,51,779 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.26%. Among the successful candidates, the pass percentage for girls was 73.88%, and for boys, it was 72.79%.

In the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, 81,198 students appeared for the exams, and 71,309 of them (87.82%) qualified. The pass percentage for girls in this category was 88.32%, while boys scored 86.29%. The exams for the Agriculture stream were held on April 29-30, and the Engineering exams took place from May 2-4.

Usually, the EAPCET counselling schedule is released the day after the results, but this time there will be a delay. The counselling is expected to begin at the end of June or in the first week of July. The counselling for the JEE Advanced results, which will be released on June 2, will take place first, followed by the seat allotment for IITs, NITs, and IIITs through the JoSAA counselling. Once the JoSAA counselling is concluded in four rounds, the EAPCET counselling will begin. Typically, EAPCET counselling follows JoSAA, as candidates who participate in EAPCET counselling will not be eligible for JoSAA once the process is completed. The classes for engineering are expected to commence in the first week of August.
