China has launched a new “K-Visa” aimed at attracting foreign talent, especially in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The new visa will come into effect from the 1st of next month.
This move comes as the United States tightens its H-1B visa regulations, making it harder for foreign experts to work there. With rising annual fees and stricter rules in the US, China’s K-Visa offers an alternative pathway for talented professionals from India, China, and other countries.
One of the biggest advantages of the K-Visa is that applicants do not need sponsorship from a local company. China currently has 12 visa categories, and the K-Visa has been added as the 13th category.
Eligibility:
Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in STEM from a recognized university or research institution. They must submit all necessary documents to prove their eligibility. This visa opens new opportunities for skilled professionals seeking international prospects beyond the United States.
