About Telangana Statehood Day
Telangana became India’s 29th state on June 2, 2014, after a long-standing movement for separate statehood. The movement was driven by cultural, historical, political, and economic reasons, aiming for better governance and regional development.
Every year, the state celebrates with parades, cultural events, and official ceremonies to mark its formation.
