Pakistan Seeks Arab Nations Help After Pahalgam Terror Attack | Tensions With India Rise

Pakistan is asking Arab nations to help reduce tensions with India after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people. The Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has spoken to leaders from Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other Gulf countries, asking them to put pressure on India to stay calm.

India is angry over the attack and blames Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. Although Pakistan is publicly showing confidence, reports suggest it is worried about India's reaction. Pakistan says it is ready to support a fair and transparent investigation.

To manage the crisis, Pakistan is also talking to China, Russia, and the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres. PM Shehbaz met with diplomats from Saudi, UAE, and Kuwait and said that Pakistan is working for peace and stability in South Asia.
