Salman Khan’s Comments on South Audiences Become a Hot Topic
Salman Khan’s recent comments about South Indian audiences have sparked a lot of discussions. However, actor Nani has rejected these comments. In an event, Salman Khan mentioned that South Indian audiences show love for him when they see him on the roads, saying “bhai bhai,” but he felt that this love doesn’t exist in movie theaters. Nani responded by saying that South Indian films are gaining recognition worldwide, but even before that, audiences from South India have been supportive of Hindi films. He emphasized that South Indians have shown love for Bollywood movies for many decades.
Nani pointed out that several movies starring Amitabh Bachchan, such as those in the 80s and 90s, were huge hits in the South. He also mentioned that films like “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and “Dil To Pagal Hai” have left beautiful memories for South audiences. He added that he personally loves Salman Khan’s movie “Hum Aapke Hai Koun” and especially the song “Didi Tera Deewana” which is played at almost every wedding. Nani concluded by saying, “Maybe we misunderstood Salman’s comments.”
