Jubilee Hills Bypoll: Counting Tomorrow – 10 Rounds to Decide the Winner by Noon

The suspense surrounding the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-election results will finally end tomorrow. The vote counting process will begin at 8 AM on Friday, with officials confirming that all necessary arrangements have been completed. The counting will take place at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda.

Votes from 407 polling stations in the constituency will be counted in 10 rounds. For this, officials have arranged 42 counting tables, a significant increase from the usual 14 tables, to ensure that the counting process is completed faster. Only the counting staff, candidates, and their authorized agents will be allowed inside the counting hall.

The process will begin with the counting of postal ballots, followed by home voting ballots (10) and service votes (18). Counting of EVM votes will start thereafter. The first-round result is expected by 8:45 AM, while the final result is likely to be announced by noon, according to election officials.

The final voter turnout in the Jubilee Hills bypoll was recorded at 48.49%, which is 0.91% higher than the 47.58% turnout in the 2023 general elections. To ensure smooth and peaceful counting, three-tier security arrangements have been put in place around the counting center.
