Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 65th birthday on Wednesday. To mark this special day, the makers of his pan-India film Vrusshabha released the first look poster of the actor from the movie. In the poster, Mohanlal appears as a fierce warrior, surprising fans with his powerful and intense look. He is dressed in golden and wheat-colored armor with dragon-scale patterns, long hair, a thick beard, and a white tilak on his forehead. Traditional jewelry and a nose ring complete his majestic royal warrior appearance.

Sharing the first look on social media, Mohanlal expressed his happiness and said, “This is very special. Dedicated to all my fans. The wait is over. The storm has awakened. Proudly and powerfully unveiling the Vrusshabha first look. It is a story that will touch your heart and last forever.” He added that releasing the first look on his birthday made the moment even more joyful and thanked his fans for their love, which he said is his greatest strength.

Vrusshabha is a high-budget film directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C K Padmakumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek S Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta under Connect Media and Balaji Telefilms. The film is being made in both Malayalam and Telugu languages and is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 16, 2025, in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

On the same day, the team of another Mohanlal movie, Kannappa, released a special poster and a short video clip as a birthday gift to fans. Actor and producer Manchu Vishnu, who plays a key role in Kannappa, also wished Mohanlal on social media, saying, “Happy birthday to Sri Mohanlal, one of the legends of cinema.
