The Bhogi teaser has sparked interest with its rugged visuals, intense action and deeply rooted rural setting. Starring Sharwanand in the lead, the upcoming period action drama is directed by Sampath Nandi and is set in the 1960s along the Telangana–Maharashtra border.
Sharwanand portrays Kammari Ganga, a blacksmith living in a village controlled by powerful forces. The teaser introduces his character as a man who is eventually driven to confront the oppression surrounding his community.
Sharwanand appears in a rugged and intense avatar throughout the teaser. His dialogue delivery adds to the character’s aggressive presence, while the visuals focus on the harsh conditions faced by the villagers and the physical struggle that defines their lives.
The teaser also features sequences involving manual labour, clashes with the police and violent confrontations. These elements establish the film’s gritty tone while highlighting Ganga’s determination to stand against those who hold power over his village.
The period setting adds another layer to the presentation. Rustic locations, folk-inspired elements and blood-soaked action sequences give Bhogi a distinctive visual identity. Rather than revealing the complete storyline, the teaser focuses on the atmosphere and the central conflict surrounding Ganga.
Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayati are part of the film as the female leads. Their characters are introduced within the same rural world that forms the backdrop of the story.
The film is produced by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts, while Bheems Ceciroleo has composed the music. With its period setting, intense protagonist and focus on village-level conflict, the teaser has created curiosity about how Ganga’s journey will unfold.
Bhogi is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 12, 2026.
