SBI CBO Notification 2025 – English Version (Simple Language – 3 Paragraphs)

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification to recruit Circle Based Officers (CBO) across India. A total of 2,964 CBO posts are to be filled under this notification. Out of these, 2,600 are regular CBO posts and 364 are backlog posts. In the Telugu states, Telangana has 230 posts and Andhra Pradesh (Amaravati circle) has 186 posts. Candidates with a graduation degree in any discipline can apply.

Applicants must be between 21 to 30 years of age as of April 3, 2025. They should have been born between May 1, 1995, and April 30, 2004. Age relaxation is applicable – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PWD candidates. Along with a degree, candidates must have relevant work experience as per the official notification. The online application starts on May 9, 2025, and the last date to apply is May 29, 2025. The application fee is ₹750 for the general category; there is no fee for SC/ST/PWD.

The online exam will be conducted in July 2025. The selection process includes a written exam, screening test, interview, and local language test. The written test is for 120 marks with sections like English (30 marks), Banking Knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness & Economy (30 marks), and Computer Aptitude (20 marks). The exam will be for 2 hours, and negative marking is applicable. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of ₹48,480.
