Netherlands vs Nepal: T20 Match Goes to Three Super Overs – Netherlands Win

A T20 cricket match between Netherlands and Nepal in Glasgow became one of the most exciting games in cricket history. For the first time ever in men’s cricket, the match went into three Super Overs.

Nepal needed 16 runs in the final over of the match. Batter Nandan Yadav hit some big shots to tie the game and take it to the first Super Over.

In the first Super Over, Nepal scored 19 runs. But Netherlands also matched the score with a six and a four in the final balls. This led to a second Super Over.

In the second Super Over, Netherlands scored 17 runs. Nepal again tied the score, thanks to a six from Dipendra Singh Airee on the last ball.

Then came the third Super Over—a historic moment. Netherlands bowler Jack Luiten-Cachet dismissed both Nepal batters without conceding any runs. Netherlands batter Michael Levitt then hit a six to win the match easily.

This match is now a part of cricket history as the first men’s match ever to have three Super Overs.
