Global Star Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The filming is happening at a fast pace. A new, long shooting schedule has started recently in Hyderabad. For this, the team has built a large village-style set on the outskirts of the city to match the rural backdrop of the story.
According to the team, this village set was designed with a focus on realism. Production designer Avinash Kolla and his crew have done a great job in building this set. Key action scenes and important dialogue parts are being filmed here. As of now, around 30% of the film shooting is completed, and this schedule is expected to cover most of the major scenes in the movie.
‘Peddi’ is being made on a big Pan-India scale with a massive budget. The first glimpse video already created a buzz among fans. Ram Charan will be seen in a rugged rural look with long hair, a beard, and a nose ring. His makeover has impressed everyone. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, and senior actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma in key roles. Renowned cinematographer R. Rathnavelu is handling the camera, A.R. Rahman is composing the music, and National Award winner Naveen Nooli is editing the film. The movie is planned for release on March 27, 2026, which is Ram Charan’s birthday.
