Two big-budget movies – Coolie starring Superstar Rajinikanth and War 2 starring NTR and Hrithik Roshan – are ready to release on August 15. Bookings for these movies have already started in some states, and tickets are selling fast like hot cakes. In the Telugu states, bookings opened yesterday evening on BookMyShow and District apps.

In Telangana, there is no ticket price hike for these films. Single screens are charging ₹175, while multiplex tickets are priced at ₹295. Only one early morning special show is allowed, between 6 AM and 7 AM. Due to high demand, many theaters have been allotted for these special shows.

In Andhra Pradesh, the government has allowed an extra morning show at 5 AM for Coolie on release day. Ticket prices are increased by ₹75 for single screens and ₹100 for multiplexes (including GST) from August 14 to 23. For War 2, the special show ticket price is fixed at ₹500 (including GST). Regular shows also have the same ticket price hike during the same dates.
