Operation Sindhu: 10 AP Students Arrive in Delhi from Iran

Due to the severe tensions between Iran and Israel, the central government is continuing Operation Sindhu to safely bring back Indian nationals stranded there. As part of this operation, 10 students from Andhra Pradesh arrived safely in Delhi from Iran on Tuesday. The Ministry of External Affairs took special initiative to bring them back to India.

The government has been closely monitoring the safety of Indians living in Iran and Israel amid rising tensions. Under this, the Ministry of External Affairs is running Operation Sindhu to evacuate Indians on special flights. Officials stated that so far nearly 1,750 Indians have been brought back to India under this operation. Recently, 10 Andhra Pradesh students in Iran were safely brought to Delhi as part of the operation.

For Indians returning from Iran and Israel, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state governments have made special arrangements in Delhi. Accommodation facilities were provided at the AP Bhavan and Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. To send the students to their hometowns, the Resident Commissioners of the two states formed special teams. These teams are coordinating with the students and supervising their travel arrangements.
