The Indian Air Force (IAF) has showcased its strength in global air power rankings. Surpassing China, which was previously the leading Asian air force, India is now recognized as the third most powerful air force in the world. This was revealed in the latest report by the “World Directory of Modern Military Aircraft” (WDMME).

Analyzing 120 air forces from 103 countries worldwide, the report ranked the United States first with a TRV score of 242.9, followed by Russia with 114.2. India secured the third position with 69.4 TRV points, while China dropped to fourth with 63.8 points.

Other notable rankings include Japan (58.1) in fifth, Israel (56.3) in sixth, and France (55.3) in seventh. Pakistan’s air force ranked 18th with a score of 46.3. Experts note that these rankings reflect the modernization and growing capabilities of the Indian Air Force.
