Annual lease pending for 495 farmers deposited after technical delays
Government deposits pending lease amounts into farmers’ accounts
CRDA Commissioner issues statement regarding pending payments
The Andhra Pradesh government has recently deposited the pending annual lease amounts into the bank accounts of farmers and landowners who had provided land as part of the Amaravati capital land pooling scheme.
Due to technical issues in linking farmers’ bank accounts, sale of some plots by farmers, and delayed submission of heirs’ account details of deceased farmers, the CRDA was unable to deposit the annual lease amounts for the 9th, 10th, and 11th years into several farmers’ accounts.
The CRDA has now resolved these issues. In this process, the pending annual lease of ₹6,64,80,402 for 495 farmers has been deposited into their respective bank accounts. Out of this, ₹4,08,41,632 was for the 9th and 10th-year leases for 232 farmers, and ₹2,56,38,770 was for the 11th-year lease for 263 farmers, the CRDA Commissioner announced.
